We recently took to our Facebook page for recommendations for books to read on the beach. And we must say, our fans came up with some pretty good recommendations. We’ve compiled a fun list of books for you to read while on the beach. And yes, we do recommend that you hold an actual book in your hand. Tablets are great to have along while traveling, but leave them in your room once you head to the beach.Sand lodged in crevices in a tablet is never a good thing. A book is much easier to hold onto and there’s something to be said about holding an actual book in your hand while enjoying our sandy, sunny beach.

This looks to be a good beach read, as it contains secrets, desire, memory, passion and possibility. Any book that offers desire and more makes this one of our favorite choices.
Carroll recommended Takedown Twenty by Janet Evanovich.
Another #1 New York Times Bestseller from Janet Evanovich. This novel is all you can expect. This makes a good beach read, as it’s filled with excitement and guaranteed to pull you in from page one.
Another great suggestion for a book to read on the beach was from Suzanne. She recommended The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd.
This book was selected for The Oprah Book Club 2.0 pick on December 10, 2013. Invention of Wings is a masterpiece of hope, daring, the quest for freedom, and a desire to have a voice in the world.
One of our recent guests was reading James Patterson’s Second Honeymoon and commented it was a book they could not put down.
James Patterson’s books are full of adventure, suspense, and action packed. This one looks to be just as thrilling as all of his other books.
